Just a little catch up

Happy Father's Day!

I am an amazing wife and got Clay an IPad, made Clay an IDad.  I know I know, yes it did take some serious skill.

And the little icons, you flip those puppies up and cute little comments are under them.  Like under the twitter icon it says "I'm twitterpated over you!"  ( I got the pattern/tutorial from tip junkie)  

Lucy drew him a picture for Father's Day.  She did such a good job, and only tried to eat the crayons and paper a few thousand times.

And on another note, Lucy's just darn cute!

Sometimes when we turn the TV on, she will go and sit/stand in her chair. 

Lucy's a chicken (who meows).  She's afraid of fireworks, but the 4th of July is my favorite holiday and I'm not about to miss the fireworks.  So we're trying to break her into the idea that fireworks are truly awesome!

Here she is throwing snaps, she actually does a great job at it.  (yes I'm aware this is bad parenting but I'm OK with it) 

Story time about the snaps...

We had just bought some and figured that meowing chicken would be afraid of them, so we were going to start out slow.  I was struggling with opening the package and it finally tore open and about 5 snaps flew out and hit the ground right next to Lucy. *o no, here comes the water works*

It took her 30 sec. to realize she didn't like that and started crying.

So anyway we broke out some flowers and screamers and she whined for a little while and then she got into the spirit of it, yay!

Bring on the fireworks, burgers, swimming, lounging, sun bathing, awww who doesn't love the 4th of July?

And more proof that she will occasionally cuddle, on her terms of course.
