"O Mr. Sun, Sun, please shine down on me"

If you have watched Barney as much as we have you should know that song well.
But seriously, love the sun.
Grateful Idaho has the sun.  It may be blustery just about all the time, and sometimes so cold you aren't sure you body will be able to move.  Awww but the sun, the beautiful sun, it's always pouring down.

Remember I mentioned that we had bought 2 pools?
Here is pool 1.  (pool 2 coming at a later, warmer date)
We have a tarp placed over it to soak some of those sun rays in, hoping it will heat it.
And can't forget our sunscreen, too much cancer going around, might as well try and prevent this one.

I had a rather large headache at this moment so I opted to sit in the shade and take pictures and watch these 2 with all their shenanigans.

You can tell by his pained expression the tarp didn't really heat it up all too well.
He did mention that once you got moving around it was totally fine.

Lucy's turn.
Brrr, brrr, brr!

Protect the toes!  Abort mission, abort!

And so this is how they played.

That is until we got mean and said suck it up.
This is the picture we will put on our "parents of the year award."

Her last hope,
MOM!  SAVE ME!
I did no such thing.

And look it all worked out and she had quite the blast.

Cheese.
You would think with all the pictures we take I would put her hair up in a way that it stays out of her eyes.  That's how we Tiffany's roll, always an enigma.

Where was Gus this whole time?
Steering clear of the pool.  He was hunting gnats.
He since has adventured by the pool and it takes every single ounce of restraint to not throw him in.
It's just in my nature.

The following Monday we reached a high of 94 (honestly where did that come from 94 Monday, 60's Tuesday?)
So little miss and I played in the pool and again it did take coaxing but once in she had a delightful time and I as well.

O and I had mentioned that I had a squash craving, well I ordered a basket and their were 2 spaghetti squash in there.  YAY!  I have had my squash fix and have now moved on to blueberry muffins.
