Yes, let's clear some things up.
First off, underwear is worn on your head and bum. (you think she'll be mortified by this picture later? Probably.)
The weather will never co-operate.
Vans can be cool.
Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks will always serenade me.
And I have not fallen off the face of the earth.
Now that we're on the same page.
I'll admit I'm not putting many pictures on here. I'm just letting you know what's going on here in the Pace household.
It's true, I'm knocked up, and with this I have been uber tired and my house is held up by the few things that I get done so we can live. (Honestly dishes, laundry, and toddlers making messes will never end)
I'm 17 weeks now (almost half way, holla!) and my energy level is starting to return. Which is great becasue I walk by my office daily and cringe.
Guess who tore her office apart yesterday? ME!
I love organizing things, pure bliss.
If you remember I was going to RIPPED, ya know gettin ripped with my "8" lb weights. Sadly the schedule of this last session didn't work out with my schedule so I did not continue on. I had every intention to do other things to keep this butt in gear, sadly they haven't happened yet.
I do credit RIPPED for my smooth 1st trimester tho. I was a heck of a lot more sick with Lucy then Midget, so maybe that was it?
Speaking of Midget, that boy (or girl) can eat.
I'm hungry all the time but just don't have the room.
Midget rewards me after a meal with crazy twitch kicks tho, silly kid.
We will find out the gender in just 3 weeks, excited much.
And I'm craving squash, yeah good luck finding that in the stores. Squash? Really?
EIRMC had a NICU reunion. We went because I will take any excuse to not make a meal. And they gave us "free" hot dogs, cotton candy, and cookies. The most expensive hot dog I've ever bought but she's paid for! Isn't she a cute little hot dog?
We bought 2 pools. You know because 1 just isn't enough. Luckily we at least had 1 day of incredibly hot weather and I had the day off, what are the odds of both of those coinciding?
All right confession time.
No judgement please.
We bought a van.
Can I at least explain myself before you poke fun?!
We had a fabulous SUV that we absolutely loved. Sadly gas ain't cheap and neither were the payments. We were responsible and sold that lovely piece of machinery.
There was really no point in buying another car when we know that we will be having more babies so might as well get the van. (Heck I plan on kickin out at least 8 more hot dogs, right)
So let's look at the cons:
Not quite attractive are they?
Not quite attractive are they?
You go from cool to uncool instantly.
You feel straight up old.
Did I mention old, uncool, and not pretty?
And the pros:
Until you have loaded a kid in a car and then upgraded (yeah I said it) to a van you will not understand how awesome that is and how much your back appreciates it.
The features are awesome! Their is a cup holder everywhere and somewhere to set a book or toy. Air vents for everyone,
The room, o the room.
Easy, easy loading.
Our long, long, long trip to Washington will drive so much smoother.
Here's my favorite part.
The van has tinted windows. I pulled up to the drive thru at the bank to deposit a check, he gave me like 7 pieces of candy! He expects a van full of kids, nope just me and hot dog.
Candy, candy, candy!
(I have a slight addiction to candy, nothing serious, just slight)
So yeah I swallowed my pride and we bought that sucker and now I am the typical "soccer mom". Who indulges on candy.
This post brought to you by Tim McGraw (When the Stars go Blue) and Garth Brooks (Fishin' in the dark)
While slowly eating a piece of key lime pie, heaven.

What no picture of the van. I agree with all the pros of the van. Can't wait to hear what you are having.
