How we vacation

So a while back we sold Wanda the nasty camper and purchased Sam the awesome trailer.
What better time to test Sam out then by taking him/her (it's still a debate between a couple of us :)
to a cold crazy land during one of it's busiest weekends of the year.
See look at us all enjoying ourselves in Sam.

Life cannot get any better when you have TWO Barney's.

The first night we stayed we woke up around 1, the heat went out and was no more.  Cuddle for warmth!
And we woke up to 4-5 inchs of snow, neat.
Just getting the hang of Sam.

We saw hundreds upon hundreds of Bison.  And all their sweet babies too.

 We saw the occasional Elkin

The most awesome was the Grizzle bear tho, by far.

And we did witness some thievery.  Check out the red cooler in the back of the truck.  Next to that is one of the famous giant Yellowstone birds.  They're famous because they can get into anything to get to the food.  That's why they're so giant.
See he stole someones graham cracker. No smores for them tonight.

And there he goes.

Look, nature.
They must have a beaver problem, look at all those fallen trees, it's a dam shame.

O the hikes we will go on.

 I'll bet you're wondering what I'm thinking?
"Hmmm what shall I eat for 2nd lunch?  And will Lucy let me take a nap?"

I had no idea coyote's could hold so still.

 Everybody make a badger face.

Look at the back of Lucy's hair.  Can you see how ratted and snarly that's getting.  Is anyone else cringing at the thought of trying to get those out?
I want midget to be a boy, I will straight up shave his head until he can do his own hair, which will probably have to be around 18.
Heck I'm gonna shave Lucy's head too.

Investigating the crime scene.  Apparently the Elk have horrible teeth.  They must not be seeing their Dentist as often as recommended.  Those rebels.

She holds still for photos so well.
Happy Camping!
