First off before I forget, those Thing 1 and 2 shirts are fakes.
Yep I had every intention of buying them, until they wanted $25 for a toddler shirt, hmm no.
My sweet man used photoshop on those puppies.
All I had to do was provide the red shirt and the fabulous smiles.
Yeah they even had a little sleeper for a baby I was like that's perfect ya know if it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
All right kids buckle up it's about to get all wild in here.
I had to announce my pregnancy before I posted about Disneyland because I wanted to talk about it. :)
We flew out of IF town on Friday afternoon, arriving at the LAX airport around 2. This is where we rendezvous with Wayne. Wayne works for Karmel shuttle. (Great shuttle company because they don't pile a bunch of people in with you, we were the only passengers.)
I feared for my life on the drive, the traffic there is just slightly worse then IF town.
We made it to our hotel around 3, dropped off the bags and made a mad dash for the happiest place on earth.
Our first ride was Soarin' over California
Delightful because when you go over the field of orange trees it smells like oranges-that's a smell a pregnant woman can handle.
We spent Friday evening in California Adventure.
Here I am with Paradise Pier, and frizzy hair.
The great thing about DL is that you can walk up to any "Cast member" and ask them to take your photo, and not worry about them running off with it.
I absolutely LOVED how nice everyone is.
People are polite here, it's amazing!
Posing with the giant bear.
Saturday morning posing with Walt and Mickey Mouse.
Donald Duck of course. The flowers were sooo pretty. And everywhere you turn their is a cast member cleaning up any debris.
It's our first day in Disneyland, better figure out where everything is, specifically the bathrooms.
We bought a case of water bottles at a local gas station, best purchase.
I chugged them all day, which meant I went inside every bathroom the park had to offer. No lie, every bathroom.
Can I side track for a minute?
This was a huge deal for me, 24 and just finding out how awesome these things are, sheeesh.
Ya know those toilet seat covers they have in all the public bathrooms? I had never used them before bc I"m not a big public bathroom kind of gal.
Didn't really have a choice with all the water I was drinking and shrinking space.
Those things are a Godsend! It was like I discovered the most magical thing ever. Suddenly peeing wasn't so bad.
Yeah you bet I just side tracked to talk about toilets, you did read that correctly.
I have a feeling Clay got a little bored with all my pee breaks.
Adventureland, my favorite place in the park. Indiana Jones, favorite ride hands down, feet up, stomach sideways.
(You see those rocks behind me? Bathroom hidden behind there, my favorite bathroom too, never had to wait in a line there and it was pretty much the cleanest. Now you know right? Your welcome.)
That tiger is going to eat those crocs!
If I wasn't peeing or standing in line I was eating. They say when you're pregnant you eat for 2. Wrong I ate for 3 very hungry teenagers.
This little booth was free so you bet I'm gonna snag it to eat my lunch.
And you bet we're gonna make everyone gag while they eat givin a little smoochie smooch.
Clay felt self conscious up there, I felt like I belonged. :)
I waved to people, no one waved back, honestly.
I know what you're thinkin, "Nice Ass"
O explanation on the hat. I sat in the sun, making sure I used sunscreen bc let's face it if I can try and prevent a cancer this is one of them. So I was thinking "hmm I"m not gonnna put sunscreen on my part-eww. But I definitely don't want skin cancer on my head, that will surely go unnoticed. I'll buy a hat." Problem solved.
Not really sure where this is, my best guess is that we're waiting in line, we did a lot of that.
Waiting in line yet again, this is at Mr. Toads fun adventure or something like that.
See? Toad.
A pink castle? Ummm probably every little girls dream.
(I still consider myself a little girl as I have not matured past 7.)
Sunday morning we were granted the privilege of Magic Morning.
I have no idea if you can pay extra for this or not but if you can, worth every penny.
You get to enter the park an hour before the rest of the crazy population.
Only certain rides are open but just having the park to a few hundred people is amazing.
Can you say no lines?
I didn't even waste my time peeing. :)
And we'll end it at that.
O don't worry more pictures to come!
