Prego shot

This was me on Sunday with a bulging belly.

And here I am pregnant with Lucy back in 2009.  I like to compare the size so you get to see it too.

So the 2nd tri seems to be a little more trying then the 1st was.  It's harder for me to breathe and sleep is difficult, oh and my hips feel like they're being pulled apart by semi trucks.
For about 3 weeks I had the hardest time sleeping because my hips hurt so bad. I noticed that when I did fall asleep it was when I had woken up on my back, which they don't encourage.
I read online that stretching before bed and when you wake up help, and a memory foam pad.
I've tried both and my pain has significantly improved.
I feel like my hips are spreading more then they did with Lucy.
So if you see me waddle it's because of my aching hips.
Baby Midget still gets excited every time I eat, and I mean as soon as I'm heating something up, not even before it's entered my mouth.
Her kicks are the furthest from subtle, it's more like she's doing quick punches back and forth, you know like Tae bo.
Clay and I watch her jiggle my tummy before bed, the simple pleasures in life that truly are amazing and make all this hip pain and lack of oxygen worth it.

oh my goodness- you are so tiny! but I feel ya in the hip department. Mine has been super bad this pregnancy. But a couple weeks ago my doctor showed me a stretch that has really helped. Clay will have to help you. You just lay on your back with your knees up and have him push your knees together while you try to push them apart-do it for 10 sec and then switch directions so your pushing them together and he's pushing them apart. It will pop your hips and stretch them and make EVERYTHING feel so much better! Just do it before you go to bed and then again when you wake up-anyway hope it helps!

I always worried about sleeping on my back too. Both times I mentioned it to my doctors during they basically said don't go to sleep on your back but don't worry if you do end up on your back. My hubby also told me in medical school they learned that most of the time if you are sleeping or lying on your back for too long your body will either wake you up or you will feel the need to roll over before anything detrimental really happens. I hope that makes you feel better because I worried about sleeping on my back too. Also you are so lucky to have such a nice little basketball belly you look great!
