If you're driving from Idaho Falls, ID to Vancouver, WA you can make it in about 10 hrs.
That is if it's just you and your hubby and you only stop for gas and the occasional snack-to go.
Since I'm pregnant and was told by the Dr. to stop every 2 hrs and walk around for 15 min, I have a bounced on bladder, and a 2 yr old who is still mastering the art of potty training-it took us roughly 14 hrs to get there. (we stopped a lot)
For our drive home we had decided to stop in the middle and get a hotel because we are spoiled and wanted to and who doesn't want the extra chance to take a swim in the pool.
Since we were in no hurry we stopped at a museum near Boise, some pioneer, Lewis and Clark thing.
We were just happy to get out of the car.
We're walking on the boardwalk in the blistering heat.
Take a gander at Lucy's knees if you will. The entire trip the girl tripped and fell and had cuts and bruises alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll over her knees.
Poor Mom and Dad were losing compassion, it's a good thing GMA and GPA still cared.
This handsome fella just trotted up next to the window while we were "learning" in the museum. He had such a nice doo we had to take a photo.
Lucy thought this table was set up for her. She made us possum stew.
After sleeping on this bad I'm sure your back would ache, with Clay's encouragement my Mom helped portray this via photo.
(She will be so thrilled to see this made it on the blog)
All the adults were looking at something, when we turned around we found Lucy hugging and kissing this poor dead beaver.
That's my girl-animal lover.
Lucy was begging us to "OPEN" this case so she could play with the "barn"
She was rather frustrated that we did not oblige.
