Miss Picky Pants

Lucy isn't the bravest when it comes to eating new foods.  This kills me, I like to try new things.  I'm 25, I'm sick of pancakes and waffles.  Why can't this 3 yr old understand this?
In an attempt to convince the little girl to try something new I thought maybe if she makes it she will eat it.
And who the heck doesn't like pizza?!

So we prepped our ingredients and Lucy even drew up some pizza plans.  Ya know where you place the olives, pepperoni, and mozzarella, this is very technical stuff.

MMMMM that pepperoni is lip lickin good!

Dad and Lucy constructed the pizza's while I fed the baby T-rex. (that story to follow)
Good thing she got an apron for Christmas, man Lucy's Mom is a genius!

So we always make Lucy try a bite of what we're having for dinner and we usually include something she likes on her plate.  But just about every night we have a fight.
She doesn't want to eat new food item.  We tell her if she wants juice, or fruit, or whatever incentive later she has to have a bite.
So we spend our meal fighting her or listening to her cry in her room.
Yeah we're like the meanest parents ever.
And then she comes downstairs and she finally sucks it up and tries a bite. (she usually chews on it forever and gets it all nasty, but it doesn't count unless she has swallowed)

So here she is wide mouthed showing you that she did indeed try a piece of pizza and no more remains in her mouth.

I try, that's all that matters right?

Here's the T-rex I was talking about.
Don't let her chubby fingers, double chins, bright blue eyes, and smiles fool you.

She's an absolute terror.
She loves me soooo much that she wakes me up every 1-2 hrs, because she misses me.  And when she calls for me she uses her baby T-rex voice.  T-rex's are vicious creatures and will scream in your ear as loud as they can and bite you if given the chance.  Their poop smells like vinegar and is so acidic it dyes their own skin yellow.
Baby T-rex's are vertically challenged and so they take their frustration out on their victims.  They scream and wail (again in your ear) until you hold them up and jiggle them.  (They think the jiggling is a massage and T-rex's love massages and well T-rex's get what they want.)
Since this T-rex is still a hatchling she can't move around on her own, so she vocalizes that you will cart her around, all 2000 tons of her, she will go with you EVERYWHERE because she must learn her environment.

Needless to say she's becoming quite high maintenance.
From Midget, to Piglet, to T-rex.
What have I done?
