All the baby details you could want

If you missed it, we're pregnant! Surprise!
I will give you the typical details first and then you can leave and be happy or continue listening to my ramblings.

I'm 11 weeks right now which makes baby about the size of a fig, according to the Internet.

I'm due Jan. 2nd. But I have my babies c-section so the latest I will have baby is Dec. 26th, which is one week early.  Lucy was 5 weeks early and Zoey was 3 weeks early.  Every baby is different tho right?  Yeah so I fully expect to spend Christmas in the hospital.

Have you been sick?  Well yes, lots of nausea and lots of naps when possible.  I now refuse to eat pretzels.  But I am starting to feel so much better.  I'm actually human again and it's an incredible thing.  Huge shout out and public praise to Clay for picking up the slack when he could.
I became a vegetable (probably not a carrot tho because they have good vision, not an onion, they stink.  Probably a green bean. Nope a pea pod because I have a baby pea in me!)  Focus people! He fed us, cleaned up, only made fun of me a little when I was lazily bumming it on my favorite green chair.

You have your details you may leave if you'd like but now I get down to the nitty gritty.

Last summer I felt horrible and was tested for diabetes. Turns out I was pre-insulin resistant. (that's a thing?)  They recommended diet and exercise.  I wanted to lose some baby weight anyway.  So that's what I did, I created a better diet and exercised.  I started walking in the mornings with Bella

and watched the sunrise.  Never thought of myself as a morning person but I love it!  You feel like you're the only one out there, just you, the dog, and God.  Just incredible.  I lost 18 lbs and was feeling great!  I even saw my stomach start to shrink, something I never thought would happen with the previous c-secs.

I had a feeling that I needed to go part time at work before I was going to get pregnant but the timing wasn't working out so I continued  at full time.  Getting pregnant was taking longer than my patience.

You never cut your hair short when your pregnant because by the time you're 9 months pregnant and huge you want any excuse to look pretty and long locks help a little and you hope it shrinks your swollen face, distracts others from your monstrous ankles, that kind of thing.  So in an attempt to speed this thing up I chopped 16 inches off my hair. (Stupid, stupid, stupid!)

So by this point I've lost 18 lbs, I'm feeling great and have some awesome habits established.  I've chopped 16 inchs off my beautiful hair why am I not pregnant?!  (You're telling me that's not how it works?)

Clay and I finally took the plunge and said "Tiffany, you're going part time!"  So 2 days before we hired our other assistant to cover the days I will be gone I found out I was pregnant. Who knew?

The other two children are busy harassing me so that is all for now!
Here's one of the cute stinkers!

Yay! I love your posts, they make me feel normal :) it's good to know other people think about getting pregnant the way I do. I.E.- this is taking way too long so I have to do a bunch of random stuff to speed up the process. All your post tells me is that we are right! Getting pregnant rarely has anything to do with biology. Glad you are feeling better!
