What did we do for Veteran's day?
We celebrated the Mr.'s birthday.
He is the ripe old age of 29, cradle robber right?! :)
Dad and Lucy before we begin our long adventureous day.
I can't get enough of her toes, so cute. She refuses to keep socks on, that's OK I'd rather be barefoot too.
So Clay was fixing up his snow machine so I gave him some money for that and said that is your birthday present so don't expect anything on your birthday. Mean wife huh.
My Mother was very excited about 11-11-11 and didn't want to pass up this opportunity for a sweet party. So she pretty much planned it all. All I had to do was entertain the hubby and create genius lies.
My sweet Mom watched Miss. Lucy for the afternoon while darling and I went to Famous Dave's for lunch. (mmmm love it!) Then we shopped til we dropped. We spent the afternoon trying to get some Christmas shopping done. And we did until we ran out of money.
When we went back to my parent's house to "pick up Lucy" it was decorated with balloons and delicious food and all the fam was there.
Clay had no idea, I am the master liar! (Not really something you want to brag about is it?)
We had 11 oz steaks and a potato bar with 11 toppings. And a drink that had 11 flavors.
A pic of Clay being carried away by the balloon, with all his dieting he's wasted away and all it took was one balloon. Don't worry I snagged him before he got too far!
Clay at the kids' table entertaining the munchkins.
Nephew P. so happy chasing the balloons
My cute sis holding Miss Lucy
Notice the hands reaching up to her. Her babe was a little jealous.
SUPER MOM!
He received a bunch of change in 11 increments. Whatever gets him closer to that big screen TV he keeps nagging me about :)
(See men nag too, they just seem to think their nagging is more impt, wrong)
Oops forgot to rotate this pic. Here is Clay's pie, a pumpkin cheesecake. And some chocolate cupcakes because a good portion of us do not enjoy pumpkin.
10 cupcakes + 1 pumpkin pie = one delicious sugar rush!
I forgot to bring candles, luckily my Mom has a plethora of them. Their is a giant 2 and 9 candles for the 9, works right?
Happy Birthday Mr. Clayton Pace!
