Let's go back a week to Halloween.
First off a little venting, all holidays should be on a Friday, it's just easier, no one wants to get up and go to work after they've been partying it up. OK I'm done whining, for today.
Clay's work was having a costume competition so he dressed up as a farmer, he didn't win, aw well.
I'm surprised he dressed up all. Good thing my Mom and Dad had all the farmer gear needed.
Including the o so comfy cowboy boots.
A little snap shot of my two favorite people sporting overalls!
So we head over to my parents house for Halloween because it's more fun to celebrate with more people and it's just fun to see my Dad on Halloween, you'll see why later.
Clay spent most the evening getting his snowmachine all snazzed up for the long winter ahead of us. And apparently you don't need snow to ride one around, who knew?! :)
He's realllllllly looking foreword to snowmachine season, I soooo am not. But I do my best to support the cute boy and his hobby. :)
Here is nephew J. Terrifying right?!!!
Niece O. A princess, definitely what I would have chosen too! I love the fur, nice touch.Nephew P. That's one cuddly little monster. He's such a serious little boy. I was holding him and trying to make him laugh he just looked at me very serious and almost like I was crazy. (yeah like that's the first time I've got that look :)
Niece A. Sporting her Dad's letterman jacket as a 50's chick.
Go, greased lightnin', you're burnin' up the quarter mile
Greased lightnin', go greased lightnin'!
Greased lightnin', go greased lightnin'!
Don't forget to notice the soda in the background
A shot of the bumblebee farmers and bumble bee before we head out and freeze our tushes off. (I forgot to put our hats on, sheesh, rooky mistake!)
And here we have my Dad. He bought soda on a really good deal one year for Halloween and he's been doing it ever since, good deal or not. He loves to hear the kids..
"Whoa, soda? This place is awesome."
Or something along those lines.
Last year he ran into a snag tho, some kids were on the D.A.R.E. challenge and couldn't have soda. Never fear, he bought water and capri sun for those kids.
The side of the street they live on has many culdesacs so a lot of people just go to the other side. I believe it was last year where he was yelling that he had soda. He's too funny.
He has a few regulers that make sure they get there before he runs out.
My sis and I wanted to shake up the cans as part of the trick, it was a no go.
We had a fantastic Halloween. Miss Lucy had fun helping grandpa and nephew P. pass the soda out. She also had fun snagging candy from buckets.
And I enjoyed helping her devour the candy. :)
Hope yours was splendid as well!
