OCD starts young

The Mr. and I always have lotion on hand. (pun was not intended, it just happened)
You could call our need for lotion obsessive.
Nothing is worse then washing your hands and then having that dry feeling.
Or touching certain things without lotion ie: newspaper, some materials, really any kind of paper.
My point
we always have lotion, everywhere, anywhere.
Lucy and I are upstairs, I'm doing laundry and I get that panicked feeling
*o no, it's been quiet for too long*
She found the lotion.
Lots of precious lotion all over my carpet, her, probably the cat.
(She got a hold of some Vaseline last week and lathered Gus in it.  He's so dumb why didn't he run?)
Every time we're near a lotion bottle that she can see she's begging for some.
We start our addictions at a young age.

Don't want to forget my proud parenting moment!
Last Friday we went to Applebee's.
We decided to order Lucy some chicken nuggets and it came with milk.  She was devouring the milk but I knew if she drank much more the idea of getting food into her would be pert near impossible.
I slowly took it away, of course she threw a fit, so her and I went out to the front and I was trying to calm her down nicely.  (try explaining to a ticked 2 yr old that she's got to chill out, while keeping your cool in public)
She made herself so mad that she puked.
All over.
Nasty stinky milk puke.
Right in the entry where everyone going and coming can see and smell.
Embarrassed? Humiliated? Defeated?
So much so.
Luckily the Applebee's hostess was super nice and was like "I can clean this up"
Really?  You think I"m going to make you clean this up?  You're sweet but I got this.
I go back to the table with stinky wiped up and tell Clayton
"We're leaving, get it to go, and leave a generous tip"
And then Stinky and I made a mad dash to the car.
Never again.
Gah!

Haha! Oh Tiff, I realize that was not one bit funny to you, but it gave me a good laugh!

Haha I love hearing other people's mothering moments just so I know I don not have the only stinky child who loves throwing huge fits in public! thank you-it made my day!
