Lucy and I sported green. (she threw a fit just before this picture, such is the life of a girl going through the teenage years too early. Life goes on)
Dearest Clayton did not sport green. I pinched him many, many times to no avail. He still continued wearing blue. Turd.
Ya know now that I think about it that's probably why we didn't get a pot of gold this year, darn you Clayton!
And then we ate the traditional corned beef, carrots, and potatoes. (cabbage has been a tradition in my family but now that I'm a big girl, it's been cut from the list.)
Miss Lucy stays with my Mom on the days that I work. And Dear Clayton drops and picks her up because he works on that side of town.
After a long, exhausting, and draining day of work I beat Clay home, so I changed and crashed on the couch.
Gus joined me because he is o so needy and he had a difficult day at home all alone, or so I was told.
As soon as Lucy and Clay pulled in she climbed aboard too.
So nice to be loved, I wouldn't have it any other way.
IT'S SPRING!!!!
Hahahahahahahahahaha riiiight!
My tulips that I planted last fall sure think it's time to poke their heads up.
I'll bet they regretted that decision just as much as I regret leaving the house during the tumultuous winter.
Here's to new life!
*Just wanted to throw out there that I'm placing a Scentsy order Mar. 28th. (Hoping to get some new scents for Easter)
