Family Reunion

For those that are unaware, my dear hubby is from Vancouver, Wa.  So every year we make the trek up there.
This last week we made the trip up.
Sunday was our family reunion.
We gathered at a local park.
And if you know the Pace's you know that many, many, many photos will be taken.
So many in fact that I didn't take a single photo that day, because I knew I wouldn't need to.
There are 22.5 people in this shot, impressive right?

We snagged the opportunity for a little family photo shoot of our own, Sis-in-law Amy did such a fabulous job.

Ring around the rosey (only the best game ever, says Lucy)

Lucy know how to count because of this little trick.
She'll say 1-2-3 all day if you jerk her up and almost pull those arms out of their sockets.

And that's more like it.

We were going for one of those cute photos where the older sibling softly holds mom's pregnant belly.  You can tell she was so into it.

After the photo shoots Clay and I showed everyone how to make survival bracelets from paracord.
You use like 10 feet of paracord and knot it up all fancy like, so in the event of an emergency you will have 10 ft of rope.  You know because in emergency situations Miss Pampered Princess (yes that's me) will know how to save herself.

Awww the adorable sis in laws.

We made ice cream in a ziploc bag, in like 5 min.  And it didn't taste too shabby.  I was impressed, you can never have too much ice cream.

And the game Washoos (sp?) is always a popular get together kind of game.
They had a tournament for it and Clay won me a big container of Red Vines.  My hero!  (no seriously I love candy)
Altho my Doc just told me this morning I need to cut back on the sugar, oy vey.  Might as well cut back on oxygen.
Anything for baby Midget tho.
More of the WA trip to come.
(side note, you can see Clay is sporting his orange emergency bracelet.)
