It's a bit nippy in here

You remember my last pool post I had mentioned we bought 2 pools.
This isn't that pool but this is GPA playing with little Miss in the cool kiddie pool with a built in slide.

And look she even got in and slid down the slide.  (our parent's of the year picture paid off)

Clay and I absolutely love summer and the best part of summer is swimming.  But that's only so much fun because the crowds of nasty people gets old.
Clay saved up his pennies and purchased a nice big pool.
We put it in my parents back yard because
1. Their yard is rather large
2. Our whole neighborhood would be in our pool whether we were home or not (no boundaries over here)
3. Their backyard is fenced so all us white whales can get in without someone going whale watching.
4. We'd rather kill their lawn then ours :)

Clay and my Dad set it up during Clay's lunch hour on a toasty friday afternoon.
And that night we went over.
Those kiddie pools are dang cold after you just fill them up, imagine how cold this biggin was.

Clay didn't care, he was too excited.

Eying the water, mustering up courage.

Dang that's cold, what am I thinking?!

                                                                           I got this!
(Let's all take a moment to notice that even his toes are avoiding the water as much as possible. Only someone legally insane would jump in this water.)

*Tiffany places camera on shutter speed to catch every moment of paralyzing pain.*

Lucy counts him down
1,2,3
JUMP!

How long do we wait before we grab a stick to try and fish him out?  Cuz none of us are crazy enough to go in there after him.

Careful don't splash us, it's cold!

This is the moment where we lock eyes and realize how good it is that I'm already pregnant.

Who smiles when they are in this much pain?
He's such a big goof.

That crazy, handsome man is all mine ladies!

You see her face?
It says, "yep, my Dad has lost his mind"
(Good thing she's got an awesome Mom)
