Toys that keep us busy

Lucy got a set of tools for her birthday and what better to destroy with tools then styrofoam?

Ta da!

(These pictures are so old they have her black eye in them, ya know from when Lucy Tyson* got in a fight with her bed.)

All good and fun things must eventually come to an end.  After all the child is living with some neat freaks. (let's be clear our neat-freakiness only goes so far, we're slobs on the weekends)
Here is a picture of Lucy telling me no when I asked her to come over and get vacuumed.
Honestly who doesn't want to get sucked up by a loud bumblebee appearing vacuum. (I named my vacuum Bumble Bee, after the great Bumble Bee in Transformers.  It's a yellow Dyson, how could I not think Transformer?)

We vacuumed Dad and suddenly it was cool.
Everybody likes to get their hair sucked up in a vacuum!
(don't let your hair get sucked up in a hair dryer tho, that hurts somethin fierce, coming from experience. )

And on a different day we played with bubbles.  It was cold and windy outside and Mom is a wuss so to suffice the child I broke out the circular soap.
Do you realize how hard it is to blow bubbles and take pictures at the same time, maybe I'm just an amateur but I found it rather difficult.

Check out her hair, fishtails, look at me go!  Seeee I do fix her hair.
She chose the bows, a Christmas tree and a lady bug. I love her 3 year old creativity.

Zoey is not impressed by these shinanigans.  "What are these spherical floating contraptions?"

Update on our house:
It sold!
Hahahah just kidding.
In my dreams!
It's weird, some weeks we have a couple of appointments, other weeks nothin.
I had an appointment scheduled today.  We spent many hours making our house look spit spot and they canceled 30 min. before they were supposed to show up.
I'm supposed to look at the bright side, at least my house is clean, at least I have a house, at least my Scentsy's smell amazing, bla bla bla.
Dumb people.
How on earth am I supposed to get a donkey and name him Don Quixote while living in a town home? Honestly!
Aww well, another day.
