Levi's and bulging eyes

Last year when I was pregnant with midget I was de-cluttering and I came upon a mass of levi's that would no longer fit, like ever.  So I started a quilt.
Well that year was the busiest year of my life so it got put on hold.
Here I am  year later starting up the quilt process again.
I got an hour when both babes were asleep and I pounded it out.
You could smell the sweat coming off my sewing machine.
There were levi fragments everywhere.

And Zoey-Zo just dreamed on.

When my first born woke up she got into everything and tried her best to help. So the project has been put away since.
BUT maybe if I put it on here I will feel the urge to bust that puppy outta the park just in time for picnic season!
And you all pray that I won't have to replace my machine when this project is over.

About a week ago Lucy Lu who poo got in a fight with her bed.
She ground pounded it a couple of times and it bit back.
I saw the whole thing.
The bed whacked her right in the eye.
It was puffy within seconds.
This is what it looked like the next morning.
Her first black eye.
Super fun taking her in public looking like that.

And before Lucy's "Rocky" incident she got into my mascara. Silly child.

And Zoey spends most of her days sleeping so that she can wake me up in the night.
She knows I prefer it that way.
Because really who wants to sleep?
Ok not really she actually harasses me during the day too.
The little t-rex loves to be cuddled. :)  I suppose I don't mind that as much.

I have someone coming to look at my house today, Holla!  So I have spent 97% of my day making my house look like a real family doesn't live here.
Just one of those fake ones that sits on the couch and stares at the ceiling.
Sooooo happy someone is coming though!
(AND someone tomorrow morning too!)
YIPEE!

I love all of this! I have a whole big box of old jeans that I've thought about making a jean quilt because I spent too much money on those dang things to just throw them out. And Aiden's had like 15 black eyes so I totally know how that goes, pretty sure my doctor is this close to calling CPS on me, but really the kid is just accident prone. And yay for people coming to view your house! good luck!!
