A well desereved lazy weekend

We've had a busy like 3 months with all sorts of shinanigans and such.

So I've been really, really looking foreword to this weekend.

 General Conference weekend to be exact.

Where we watch the leaders of our church on TV give inspiring and encouraging talks. AND I can do it all in my pj's. :)

And I worked my booty off for the last 3 months so I had no problem sitting down and being lazy.

 

We started the day with Lucy in her tutu and Zoey giving Dad a dental examination.

Isn't she just gorgeous?!

  

When the choir started to sing Lucy pulled her children's hymn book out and sat up beside me and grabbed my hand and started pointing to the words, ya know like I've done with her countless times.

To entertain Lucy I put pictures up of Jesus, temples, someone praying. The idea was that when she heard the keyword that matched the picture she would tell me and then I would give her the related prize to keep her entertained while we tried to listen. Um she's 3 so it didn't work perfectly but it's not a total bust.

Plus the toys she got were fun to play with.

Pipe cleaner in the strainer to make a hat, creativity at it's finest.

You know what Zoey's face is saying?
"I'm surrounded by morons"

Oh Zoey you shall learn our ways soon enough! :)

We had a fabulous conference weekend filled with an exuberant amount of food, pj's, snuggles, children fighting, laziness and some spiritual upliftment!

On a different note, anyone have a better way to blog.  I love to babble and post pictures of my children but I HATE blogspot, it is so much work when I don't feel like I'm asking it to do that much!  Any blogspot haters out there with a better option?
