Soooo I'm kind of a giant chicken.
I don't do amusement park rides because, well I like to live.
Fear of heights, yep got it.
Fear of screws coming loose, yep got it.
Fear of someone puking and it flying on my face, you betcha.
Fear of the loop de doos because I know all too well how gravity works.
Anyway so Clay has been wanting to go to Lagoon and I've been dragging my feet.
We were given free tickets but some pretty awesome people and my parent's offered to baby sit.
Who wouldn't go?
So we hit the road.
And this is the only photo I have, a selfie.
We went to Disneyland when I was pregnant with Zoey so I couldn't go on a lot of rides with Clay, so he pretty much begged me to go with him.
And I didn't wimp out.
I went on Collasus, that's the one with two loop de doos.
Loved it folks.
I was begging Clay to go again.
We did discover something while we were there tho, we're old. Every time we got off we had a large headache and we were sore on our drive home.
Worth it!
While I"m on the subject, meet the corolla we bought a year ago.
We bought and sold so many dang cars last year it was ridiculous but we had decided we wanted a Toyota because they're hardy little buggars and we wanted affordable, like incredibly affordable.
Enter in 5 speed.
One little problem, driver's ed didn't teach me how to drive these bad boys.
I had driven once with my Dad on a borrowed car and once with my dear friend Sam, and like a handful of times with Clay but it never stuck because we never owned one.
Ta da!
So we bought this car when I was largely pregnant with Zoey. (man everything happens when you're knocked up)

And we took it to an empty parking lot and practiced for about an hour, with Lucy in the back.
When I stalled it, which was often, Lucy would say
"Whoa! Dad are you ok?"
Not concerned much about her mother. :)
Anyway after that I was done so the hubs drove it for the next year.
This summer rolls around and I had been having dreams where I was driving stick like a pro, like I made Vin Diesel look like a chump.
So we got a babysitter and out we went.
It took time but now I'm driving this bad boy around town AND I like it.
I love driving this plucky little car, she's a 94 so it's not the most comfortable and luxurious but she's peppy!
And I just make fun of myself when I stall. :)
And my nutty child set up this barricade the other day. I'm pretty sure it was just in an attempt to keep her sister out of her toy area.
Zoey will just eat the chairs to get them out of the way.

It's a good thing her older sister doesn't eat.
Miss picky pants!
