Candy makes me happy!

My favorite shirt on Lucy, mostly because candy is oh so delicious.  It's 24 months and Lucy is almost 4, so it will be perfect for Zoey next year. :)

Lucy is washing her warty pumpkin getting it all ready to decorate.

These lazy chumps are lounging on the couch while Lucy and I do all the hard work. :)

Ta da!  A witchy pumpkin for my crazy pumpkin.
(Guys she looks so big here!  When did she grow up?!)

My co worker's son created some masterpieces for our office to display for the month of Oct.  He carved one first but it only lasted a day so he painted this one.
I had to show off his mad skills.

                                                                          Muah!

We finally carved our pumpkins like 2 days before Halloween.  I plopped some seeds on Zoey's tray and I expected her to do what Lucy did when she was Zoey's age.
To play with the seeds and feel the texture.
Silly me!
I forget that I'm raising a baby t-rex who eats everything in sight.
I snapped a picture of her binky in mid-launch.
She throws that thing out so quick when she sees food, even if you're not offering.
If food is in the room, that binky is launched out!

We gave Lucy a scoop to scoop out all the guts and she did great until....

...the guts touched her hands.  Or so I think, it's rather difficult to decipher what an irrational, crying little girl is saying.
Don't worry she finally calmed down and got into the spirit of things.

And Zoey says "what's the big deal?"  and "Why won't you let me eat this?  I spit out the binky for a reason Mom"

And here's the master piece.  It's supposed to be a cat sitting on a pumpkin but I think it looks closer to an owl.

After the melt down Lucy and I colored pictures while Clay continued to carve the stinky pumpkin.

Tinker Bell says Happy Halloween!
She got to wear make up which was the coolest thing ever!  And glitter in her hair too!
Although she wasn't so keen on having her hair fixed.  I insisted that Tinker Bell had to have a bun and she insisted that Tinker Bell ran around with snarly hair.
I won.
But not really because Zoey got into the tissue box and everything else.  And Lucy bawled the whole time.
Oh the memories.

My nephew Porter who is only a few months younger than Lucy poo was Peter Pan!  How cool is that right?!  We didn't even plan it!  Apparently these two were planning it the whole time tho.

(How lame is it that we have to wear coats on Halloween?  When I was little I HATED wearing a coat over my costume.  Couldn't this holiday be in the summer? And while we're changing things, couldn't we change it to a Friday. :)
At least it didn't snow right?  Just some rain.  Oh well it makes ya tougher!

Everybody go awwwwww.
Tinker bell and a cute little Teddy Bear.

Careful, she bites

Off subject, here's our gorgeous house!
I'm buying your love now, if you send someone and they buy my house I will give you $200.
No joke, the easiest way to make $200.
So go tell your friends!
