Good snot, have you given up on me?! It's only been 3 weeks.
I cannot post pictures so I will just catch you up on our lives, boring right?
Our house has been up for sale since Feb. 2013, we took it off in the summer and then back up in Oct. The whole year we've been looking at houses and choosing neighborhoods that we would like to live in, because we are oh so spoiled and have a ton of stuff and were bursting from the seams in our little town home. Sooooo...... when a good deal came by we couldn't help ourselves.
Dec. 5th during Clay and I's lunch break we signed away our lives and closed on yet another house.
Yep you read that right. We thought owning just one home was lame, so we bought two. No but seriously please help me sell my town home! Tell everyone!
So that next week we packed up our belongings after work and the girlies went to bed and we cleaned the snot out of the new house because it was a foreclosure so it needed some love.
Dec. 14th-moving day! I have found the only positive to moving in the winter, ready? When you unpack your fridge and freezer, throw all your stuff in tubs and then stick them in the snow, no ice required. When we got to the new house Clay had a glass of milk (ewww, gag!) and said it was the coldest glass of milk he's ever had. Well bust my buttons their is a positive!
And December is generally the busiest time of year for a dental office. Everyone trying to use up the rest of their insurance and flex, and then all their college bound kids are home, sooooooo........ work was wicked busy and made for late nights and an exhausted, grumpy mom.
With the stresses of work, moving and Christmas shopping we all became incredibly ill. Over the course of 3 weeks we all traded sickness around off and on and off and on. We all got a good look at our livers. (you know, because we puked them up:) And bless my Mom's heart she watched my sick kids for me. (If leaving your sick kids doesn't break your heart I don't know what does) WE MADE IT THO! Happy to say we are all doing mucho better!
And as crazy as it sounds I'm so grateful that, that is all we went through. I've heard too many stories lately of kids going to Primary's Children's Hospital for brain tumors,or some other health issue. How grateful was I that we could all vomit our pancreas in our own house in our own toilet. But seriously, sooo grateful for our health and for my beautiful blondies.
About a week after we finally set up our computer, she crashed, she crashed good.
Clay is just now doing another repair on her, fingers crossed that this works and that our pictures and music are still on there!!!!! They're backed up but a girl still worries.
December 2013 was amazing and awful all at once and I'm glad to have it over! :)
Ok also, my awesome neighbors shoveled our driveway for us one day while we were all at work. They deny that they did it, but I know how awesome they are. Ahhhh home sweet home!
Let's not forget that my birthday is coming up in just 10 short days, but who's counting. :)
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our new house and I can't wait to show you pictures of it! Here's to another fantastic year!
