Sweet, sweet home

So Lucy picks up phrases that I have no idea where they come from.  And then she repeats them over and over and laughs like it's the most hilarious thing ever.  Lately on our way home from the sitter I hear from the back seat over the squawks of her sister Lucy saying "sweet, sweet home".  I've also heard "open for business".  (what the?)  Yeah, she's a weirdo.
So without further ado, our sweet, sweet home!

What's that a two car garage?  Awesome your last house only had 1 stall.

Oh snap there's a third one!  Snap diggity bob!  (I sound braggy, I know.  I'm just really, really excited! Blessed, crazy, and exited! Remember I still have another house to sell, so technically I'm off my rocker.  Who in their right mind pays for 2 mortgages when they can only live in one house at a time?!)

What's that an RV pad?  Cool!  Room for some awesome sidewalk chaulk outlines.  And some wiggle car races.  You best bring your A game!  I've been known to be incredibly quick on those bad boys.

We'll just take another glance at our garage before we move on.

Come on in!  Just be sure to wipe off your shoes.

OOOOO a downstairs?  Sweet let's go!

And this wall here with all the plastic on it is where Clay tells me the projector will be going.  To the right of that is two bedrooms, ya know when a miracle happens and we have another child.
See, bedrooms.

All right we'll go back upstairs.  Check out those floors!  I love/dislike them.  Dislike that by mid-day my feet are killing me.  Dislike that it's really not all that comfy to sit or kneel on.  (It only took Zoey like a week to learn how to walk once we moved in here.  Do you blame her?  Ouch, my knees.)
Love how pretty they look.  Love how they clean up so nicely.  Love that when people come over I'm not too worried about them tromping around in their shoes on them.
We sure know how to clutter a place up.  The nice thing about buying a used house..... the floors already have scratches on them.  So when  scratch does happen I'm not too worried about it.  I don't love it by any means but it's not like owning a new car scratch.  Ya get me?
OOOOOOO a fireplace!  Please no making fun of my decorating.  I pulled my decor out one day and half way thru putting them up I got bored so I just threw it up there.  And I've yet to really care about re-doing it.
But seriously love the fireplace, I just need a lazy boy to go in front of it.

So open.

Come on over and we'll sit at the table, chat, and have a spot of tea while we watch the snow lazily fall.  While listening to my children wail in the background.  (They're so loud,  I think I may be going deaf.)

This is the kitchen.  It's the place that I send Clay to when I'm hungry.

Ahhh a pantry.  Joy is right!

It's not too weird that I took a picture of my dishwasher is it?  I'm in love.  The place came with one but we opted to replace it with one that we knew worked. So we found this handsome boy on a Black Friday sale. And this bad boy just loves seeing me smile when I open it's toasty door to find sparkly dishes, dishes that I didn't have to pre-wash. Ahhhh.

Check it a window in my kitchen!  (It's the little things that excite me!  And the only plant that I can keep alive.  An aloe vera, it's a desert plant so she's hardy when I forget to water her for like weeks.  Sometimes I tell her she's pretty.  (really I'm lying tho, she looks like a giant spider, ewww.  I only keep her around to clean up my air and provide some soothing relief when Clay gets a sunburn.)  But shhh don't tell her that, she thinks I like her.

Little Zoey's room.  You'll notice the little monster was right there.  She saw me cleaning her room and was appalled that I would put her things away.  The horror.

See, her mouth is open.  She is doing the destructor/t-rex call.  It's piercing.  It will make your teeth vibrate.

Lucy's room.  Santa spoiled her and brought her a horse.  Someday when the basement is finished, that's where Penelope the horse is going.  (you should know by now that I just name things on the spot.  That's not really what the horse's name is, I have no idea what Lucy calls it.  Probably something ridiculous like "Open for business")

After every picture Lucy made me show her the picture, such a girl.  Checking to see how she looks.  Little does she know that I just revealed to the entire internet that she picks her nose.  (what like you're so innocent, we're all pickers!  :)

Can you say summer BBQ, parties and just backyard fun!  A fully fenced yard.  Our lot is different, our backyard is next to 4 backyards.  And 3 of the 4 have dogs.  Pomeranian's, shepherd mix, black lab, golden retriever, black lab puppy, and some other yappy dog I haven't seen, but heard.  So I told Clay in order to fit in with the neighbors we need a dog.  I'm slowly breaking him down.
And to be honest I don't hear the dogs all that often, their owners usually keep them under control, so I really can't complain.

This is the rest of the RV pad that is behind the fence.  We would like to put our pool there if the sun works out.  It will need to be a very sunny spot, so we shall see.
Aren't the girlies adorable tho?  Every now and again they're nice to each other.  I'm sure Lucy pushed Zoey after this or Zoey sat on Lucy. Something horrible and completely meltdown worthy.
This was in January, we're out there in our light coats walkin around like it's April.
Clay was hooking up the speakers so we were jammin to some tunes.  I believe it was "What I've Done" by Linkin Park.  You just missed my mad dance skills, sorry your loss.

We have been looking around at houses for the last year keeping our eye on neighborhoods we liked.  LOVED this neighborhood and really wanted in.  So I saved all the houses that were for sale in there on Zillow.  Specifically this foreclosure.  Clay asked me why I would save it when it was so out of our price range.  I said it's a foreclosure, ya never know.
She dropped, she dropped A LOT.  AND that is why we have 2 mortgages, we couldn't help ourselves.
Crazy thing tho both our houses were built by the same developer, in 2007.  Both are foreclosures and both have proof that the owners had dogs.  (As you can tell by the chew marks on the bottom of those posts in the picture above.  Maybe they were raising a baby t-rex?)

As I started to clean this house I quickly realized these people didn't have children.  For a foreclosure it was pretty clean.  And I'm pretty sure the other bathroom was just their for a guest toilet, if that.  The shower wasn't even used.  They did have a very, very destructive puppy tho.

And I'm told that the 6 trees out back are fruit trees, cool!  We'll see if they make it.
Clay and I just randomly say "I love our house"  (sorry I love the house the bank lets me live in :)
We've had soooo many neighbors stop by and our awesome neighbors across the street shoveled our driveway-which is no small feat.  Sooo incredibly happy and excited.  Now our town home just needs to sell like ASAP and we'll be able to sleep easier at night.

Thanks for touring my house, come over and get the real tour!
