Insomnia pays off...occasionally

Yes Tiffany, we know we know you can't sleep at night we get it.
It's probably because you look at all those blue lights before bed.
I'm a rebel what can I say.
Who doesn't tho?!  It's the only time I have a chance to.
I can't very well do it at work and when I get home I'm a Mom.
This is so off subject guys I can't believe you led me down that trail.
Can I just say that in the middle of the night when my lucky bum husband dreams on I write the coolest blog posts.
Why don't I just get up and type them out then instead of laying their wishing for sleep?
I've tried it before as soon as my fingers hit the keyboard  *dead space*.
Frustrating to say the least.
So I've decided to invest my money in a machine that records your thoughts.
I would have to seriously cut out a lot of it tho I tend to ramble and most likely clean up my language to a PG level but it would be pretty stellar.
Focus guys!

Anyway one night while I was lying awake I was picturing an empty spot in my house that was a thorn in my side and it suddenly came to me.
I wanted something that I could hang the girls artwork up but easy enough that I could switch it out often.
Ya know, so I can rotate since they're very artistic.
Bought some old frames from DI, removed the ugly pictures in them.  (What is the fascination with ducks in a pond, using mauve and hunter green? Bleh)
Slapped some spray paint on there and hung them up.
Yep the positioning just like this should do.

Decided to invest in chicken wire and stapled it on.
That's a lot more work than I thought it would be, but then again most projects that I do are more work than I think they will be.
Some how in my head it's just a breeze.
My head forgets I have children and no patience.
Oh and I'm a severe rounder.
Rounder, what's a rounder?
Rounder: A person who bores easily sothey are happy with the project in a short amount of time in order to accomplish it at the quickest rate possible.   Someone who turns an ok thing into an amazing thing. Example :  "Hmmm I wanted those angles to be a little tighter, oh well it looks good enough."  (good enough is a common term of a rounder)  "I graduated with a 4.0, actually it was like a 3.6 but that's practically a 3.7 which totally ROUNDS to a 4.0."
*Side note, my handsome husband is the complete opposite of a rounder, they call them Perfectionists.  Haha that 1st year of marriage was a fun one!
So their is my sorta finished project.  It's not totally done because I hung them up with push pins with the intention of spacing them out a little more eye pleasing, but "good enough."

Feet carrots, who knew?  Pinterest you're silly.

Earring holder, looks like I need more earrings right?  I totally agree!  I knew I liked you!

This bad boy has been my wish list since we moved into our house.
My necklace holder broke while I was packing.
Don't worry you don't have to go "awww shucks" for me.
It was junk.
So my necklaces have been sitting on my dresser, tangling up since December.
This is a tragedy to me.
I don't do clutter.
No like really it drives me bonkers!  Like my insomnia is so much worse when I know that the girls rooms aren't cleaned up or the tables has papers all over it, but ain't nobody wanna clean house after work and wrestling children to bed.
I believe they call that OCD I prefer the term organized.
*side note, I do not feel this way at someones house, you do not have to feel judged by me.  I've seen Hoarders, you're doing great. :)  No but seriously I only see my own clutter.

So Clay found a nice piece of wood on the side of the road.  (Does that make us sound white trash?)
I spray painted white, than rubbed some stain on it with a sock and sanded, gave it that rustic look.
Clay helped me drill the holes in the board, it was like I was at work, but ya know with a bigger handpiece.
I found these knobs at Hidden Treasures, they weren't cheap but I had a look in mind so I ran with it.

The Amour sign is from my trip to Las Vegas many millennia ago. Love me some French decor.

Not too shabby right?
I have no clever way to end this.  I started this blog eating ice cream and now I'm finishing it with a sugar crash.  No worries I'll be wide awake just as I pounce into bed. Nighty night!

One last note
Lucy keeps telling me that she has a baby in her tummy.
Let's just make it clear I think she's crazy and I do not have a baby in my tummy.  They grow in the uterus, how absurd to say you have a baby in your tummy, sheesh.
But seriuosly, don't ask, no children on the way.
