Life is good, so we must break out in dance and song!

I have a couple minutes so I'm going to catch up.  I usually prefer to separate photos into genres. (Is this the word I'm looking for?)
Buuuut ain't nobody got time for that, so misc. here we come!

My Mom was a lucky snot bucket and got to go to Hawaii with my Grandma and Aunt.  She brought Clay back this shirt.
They have a Bubba Gump restaurant there, who knew?
He is my special boy. :)
Zoey was given a fun purple dress.  ( "I like your shirt.  It's very purpley."  Sorry movie moment, I had to roll with it.)
Getting Zoey to hold still is pert near impossible though. As you can tell... She's just showing off her dancing skills.

So I swooped in and snagged her and took a selfie.
("But first let me take a selfie"  Dumbest song, probably not ever but like top ten.)
Lucy and I were given sarongs, but I haven't taken a photo yet, you'll just have to hold yer horses.   (Is yer a word?  Spell check didn't pick that up. Hmmm?)

Forever ago in May it was still too blustery to throw the children outside so we busted out Clay's hot wheels.

                                                              Obviously my car won.  ;)

And then after that us ladies busted out our princess crayons and colored magical masterpieces that would make Michelangelo cry.

So we don't have AC in our new house. I know, I know wo is me!  So we figured if we finished the family room downstairs we could go hang out down there when it's wicked hot outside.  It's wicked hot outside. Basement isn't done, apparently it takes longer than a couple of hours, who knew?!  Anyway the hunny has been down there pounding and making a ton of noise with help from friends and my Father dear.

Like I said it's wicked hot outside, ya know cuz it's summer!  I may melt all day and I probably smell like BO but who cares it's summer!
So we filled the kiddie pool up!

We planted a container garden and it's been awesome!  I love to watch my plant babies grow.  Super excited for fresh carrots!

I just think this little twink is adorable and the little chunk loves to eat, thank goodness!

Oh and we adopted a dog.
Yep.
I've been on craigslist like every night, looking at the shelter and going to adoption events ever since we bought our house looking for the right pooch.
I found this puppy dog on Craigslist and I did some pleading to my special boy and brought her home.
                                                                               Meet Bella.
They told me she's a bearded collie mix.
But I'm thinking collie/terrier.  Either way shes' a cutie.
AND she's 5 years old, only one year older than Lucy so we're past that adorably, obnoxious puppy phase.

I was very specific in the personality of dog that I wanted and she fits it perfectly.  She's very mild and chill around the house but loves to play.  Hardly barks, doesn't shed too much, loves to cuddle.  She's a great third child.
But seriously it's like I adopted another child.  One that I don't have to sleep train. :)

Lucy tells me that Bella is her dog.  I think she meant "Bella is my toy."  Oh poor Bella.  She makes a pretty princess though.

She sleeps with Lucy every night and I just love that!  I love having a security system. Bella is a good guard dog.  She's very aware of anyone outside.  And she even checks on Zoey.  Which is good and bad.  She woke her up this morning and that was less than ideal.
Lucy is crying here because Zoey just sat on her head.  Aww sisterly love at it's finest.

                                                                 Happy 4th of July!
My most favorite holiday!  Nothing better than friends, family, food and that amazing Patriotic feeling!
For the last 4 or 5 years God Bless the USA has been stuck in my head.  I break out in song often.  So I love when I can play this song on repeat throughout the house. :)

My handsome hubby has horrendous allergies every 4th.  So this year he opted to stay home with Zoey.  Lucy and I joined my Dad in braving the crowds of thousands to see the coolest firework show.  The Melaleuca freedom celebration was just as amazing as it is every year.
AND my song was even in it! :)
I'm breaking out in song here, so plug your ears.
 * I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free!  And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me...God bless the USA!*
