February is the month of Love!

Suggested song for reading this post today is "All This Time by One Republic." I love all their songs but this one is mushy and lovey, dovey.

The honey and I celebrated our 8th anniversary on Feb. 17th.  I've been planning this for months people!  I asked my Mom to watch our girls overnight for us the day before Valentine's Day.  I told Clay not to get me anything for Valentine's Day or our anniversary.  I stressed that it was indeed not a trap but a plan. And that he needed to be off on Friday by 4. And there I was sitting in his car waiting for him.
(Mind you we were sitting in our P.O.S. car that runs great but is just the right amount of crappy.  The seat belt in the front seat doesn't work so I had my chauffeur take us to our destinations.)

I only planned one thing, and that was the glory of this weekend.  We could do whatever we wanted and still sleep in our beds that are full of our germs and not some random hotel room germs.  We went to dinner, shopping and then had massages at Massage Envy. (oh my!  It was amazing!)
The next day we worked on projects that we had been wanting to do forever and sat in our pj's.
An incredible weekend with my best friend.

8 years of insanity, just the way I like it!
Now I'm going to flood you pictures from our wedding. Puke if you must, but I'm feeling twitterpated.

 Just a couple of babies.

We were married in the Portland, Oregon temple.  And thank goodness it wasn't raining!  (Can you imagine being married in ID in the snow of Feb. Brrrr)

Awww Clayton you stud muffin you!

Our rings in my bouquet.  The photographer didn't know I had his ring engraved until she was editing, oops.  It says "Eternally Yours, 2-17-07"  (Side note:  When I bought his ring they had engraved the wrong year 2006, obviously I had to have it fixed but you can still see a faint 06 on there.  And when they sized me for my ring they sized me too big.  So we both had to send our rings back after we got them.  Those people aren't in business anymore.)

And they lived Happily Ever After.
