Oh Holidays!

I rather enjoy St. Patrick's Day.  Green is my favorite color after all.  And every year my family would have Corned Beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage-smothered in butter of course.  We were getting ready for the day and I pretty much forced Clayton to wear green and I wanted to get a family photo real quick in our green-ness.
You can tell how thrilled he was.

I agreed that smashing four people in a selfie was proving difficult so Clay snapped a photo. Zoey was whining and irritated because I dared to put a clover tattoo on her hand.  You can tell in the photo she is covering it.  Can you imagine this... "Zoey hold still so I can tattoo your hand!"
Mother of the year right here folks, right here.
And that's enough of that.

Moving on to Easter!  The Easter Bunny was very concerned about Lucy's bike safety and brought her a helmet.  She had been requesting a yellow helmet like the girl in Big Hero 6 has for a couple of weeks. (ya like Walmart sells that)  Thank goodness a princess will do.

*I've been distracted go with me on this.  So Lucy and Zoey have the Rapunzel doll and of course her hair is Tangled (genius name really).  Can I just say I hope the next Disney Princess is bald?  I have to comb my hair, Lucy's hair (through screams and tears), Zoey's hair (while she pulls the floss out of its container, but hey she sat still!) , the dog's hair (while she tries to get away.).  No more long, gorgeous shiny hair Disney!  Bald, we're going bald!*
Anyway Lucy is safe now and Zoey is the 2nd child so she will just have to deal with the hand me downs of life.

We hid eggs in our backyard. The neighbor kids and the short people I live with had a ball finding them.

I took Lucy to a public egg hunt when she was 2 and I vowed to never do it again.  It's ridiculous what "adults" will do for free stuff.  It's cool though we have the perfect back yard for it.

We dyed eggs at my sister's house.
Zoey is obviously concentrating.

Yay for sister's who volunteer to make messes at their house! :)

Aunt Keisha comes to the rescue to wash Zoey's rather yellow hands.  (This was wise on her part because Zoey touches everything. :)

Awww aren't they adorable?!

Happy Easter!
