It was an early evening after a long day. The weather was starting to warm up so we put on our jackets and enjoyed the fresh air.
Lucy was hard at work pulling Zoey and the neighbor boy around the driveway.
Clay and I were happy to sit in our chairs and watch the kids and any other passerby.
Once upon a time before bed I made chocolate chip cookies because I'm pretty cool like that.
Before we laid Zoey down she made sure to take one bite out of every cookie. Quality check, it's a tough job but she's the toddler to do it.
Anyone else feel this way?

Oh just practicing our dental skills.
Lucy: "I'm going to be a dentist when I grow up and work with you Mom! And Zoey can go to work with Dad."
Me: "Sounds great to me Lucy!"
We're very concerned about sugar bugs and your financial needs in this house. We'd be happy to set up an appointment for you to get a loan and then some veneers done. :)
When you're at the dentist you have to stay frozen like a popsicle.
Apparently she has a lot of work that needs done.
When we're not brushing teeth and counting money we're dancing because everyone needs a hobby.
No need to change out of pj's first though.
This is very serious business if you couldn't tell.
We were outside last night enjoying our 75* weather and their was a worm on the sidewalk. Zoey obviously thought it was an anaconda from the screams that came from her tiny frame. Surprisingly though Lucy was like "Zoey, it's just a worm." (Lucy is usually very paranoid about every bug that enters our lawn, which is many. Dumb spiders-eww)
So in an effort to calm Zoey down and to test my limits with Lucy I said "Lucy why don't you pick the worm up and show Zoey that he's not that scary"
With some help from Dad, Lucy let Nermo (The obvious chosen name that Lucy gave the worm.) crawl around on her palm.
Eventually we had to let Nermo return to nature so she ever so gently threw him onto the grass. Probably to be devoured by the mass amounts of spiders out there. Ewww.
RIP Nermo, RIP.
