Miss Bella is pretty much the coolest dog you could have. (Until you take her on a walk, then you want to wring her neck.) She's so good with the kids. I tell her to go take care of her puppies (my children) and she trots off and does it like a good Mother hen. One afternoon I put Zoey to bed for a nap and usually Bella goes in with her but Zoey didn't want her in there. Bella was so confused as to why I would not let her get to her puppy. (Take a break while ya can lady!)
Sometimes us mothers need a break from the puppies and need some pampering so I took her to the salon. Or the mallon as Lucy calls it. (Yeah try figuring out what mallon is out of no where, oi!)
Lucy: I need to go to the mallon.
Me: What do you mean go to Mulan? That's a movie not a place.
Lucy: (Yells for emphasis since I obviously wasn't listening) MALLON!
Me: I still got nothin.
Lucy: Where I got a sucker and they cut my hair.
Tiff: (of course you remember the sucker) Ohhhhh the salon. Yeah we're not going there.
And a pedicure complete with pink, sparkly nail polish. (I'd like to know where to buy this polish because she still has traces of it on and this is almost a month ago. I need it for myself!)
Photo shoot! Ok act like you could care less.
Great now look at the camera with sad eyes. Perfect! Print it!
If you're thinking of adopting may I suggest this rescue.
We recently went to Rexburg to visit and loved it.
The lady that runs it is just the nicest, most honest and just in it for the animals.
They have a cat house where they can run around and you can get to know them in an environment that they feel safe and expressing their true personality to choose the best match for you.
We took the girls and they played with the kitties. I haven't been without the kids but I know they could use volunteers to help clean and care for the kitties. For that many cats in a house they kept it clean.
The price is also the best that I've found for a neutered, vaccinated cat as well.
She has fosters take the dogs so they don't have their own house but you can still get to know them better where they are comfortable.
I've had my share of shelter pets as well and they seem to know that you rescued them.
So many cute animals needing homes. :)
