Ahhh back to Bear Lake, the view from our cabin.
I believe this is the dead, brown stuff Clay is talking about when he describes Idaho. Beautiful in it's own way.
Tis a dear right there, in the center of the photo.
So I kind of pitched a fit. There was a moose hanging around our cabin and I asked Clay to get a picture of it. He took a video. And I was unhappy with him because I don't blog videos. Argument had, we got over it.
Then later we get back from church and there is a moose right outside our cabin. Everyone is taking pictures but we can't find our camera, grrr. I may have pitched another fit about this moose. But whatever.
I convince Clay to go on a walk with me...(because I played pool with him, the deals you have to make once you're married.) My Dad came to, him and I are always up for an adventure. Our spouses need some encouragement sometimes. Grandma stayed behind with the girls.
I do love me some flowers.
On our walk we ran into many forms of wildlife.
He was ticked that we spotted him and flew away as soon as I took the photo. Dumb tourists.
And now this fellow. He was right on the side of the road and I took a photo and then Clay wanted a video. (again with the videos, sheesh) I start to take the photo and the guys spook him and I was trying to follow him but he flew fast.
As we turn around to head back we see a moose statue. We pause to look at it because something doesn't seem right and then it hits us. Nope, nope, nope that thing is breathing and less than 20 ft from us. Let's go, let's go, let's go. No sudden movements.
We get back to the cabin and tell my Mom about this. (She's kind of obsessed with moosen.)
We all hop in the truck to go see Mr. Moose and the cabin owner invites us up on her porch to get a better view.
She said he's been napping on her lawn all day. She gave him some apples and he wanted more of course.
So the lesson to be had if you pitch a big enough fit you'll get what you want.
Wait no, I mean....
Look at the rack on that!
