Pirates beware~

I have a pretty awesome set of in laws.
When they came to visit this summer we played outside a lot.
My MIL is a genius with coming up with kid games and themed parties.
Her party this year was pirates.  Which happened to be the theme at the museum.
So we checked out the exhibit so the girls would have an idea about these pirates.  (Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy helped too. :)

After we got home we dressed up and made pirate flags.

                                                                         Ahoy matey!

All aboard!  First you walk the plank and then you board the ship.

It's funny Idaho is NEVER windy and yet this weekend that's all it did.  How very odd.

Pit stop at Parrot Island complete with ring toss.

Our challenge was to get as many water balloons in the bucket without popping.  Lucy and I totally trumped Clay and Zoey, but it's cool. :)

To be a pirate you must be pretty spectacular with a gun.
No pirate party is complete without a treasure hunt!!!

ARRRR!  But a scary pirate was guarding the treasure.  Fearless Lucy had to defeat him!

                                                                    Ay the treasure!

I think we wore Grandma Pirate out. :)

Only the coolest treasure boxes come with bubbles in them.
