I love summer, yes I do!

I want you to know I do fix her hair, but by 10 am those cute little pigtails are all gone and you are left with bedhead.  Good heck I even curled her little ponytail today!

I recently purchased a hanging basket for $1!  Ya, I'm that good of a shopper.  Actually it was almost dead and in the clearance area of home depot, or was it Lowe's?  Anywho I brought this little puppy back to life with my super fabulous green thumb.  And Lucy keeps terrorizing the poor thing.

I also got a strawberry plant for $1, she's not as pretty so I didn't display a picture of her, but she is doing well.

This is my neighbors cat, her name is Gigi, or something like that.  When we moved in over a year ago I thought she was a stray.  So I started feeding her and named her Frankie.  I now know she has owners and that makes her the perfect cat for me.  I still feed her cuz she's dang skinny.  She visits us often and let's us pet her.  Lucy makes sure we keep her fed, every time we go to the door she says "meow" and grabs the cat food container. I still call her Frankie, well bc personally I find it better fitting for the little mooch.

Well maybe I'll take it out.

And we wonder why we can't find things?

People are always telling me how much she looks like her dad.  You're right I can see the similarities.  I think she got his fashion sense too!

We love the rain.  It waters our grass for free!  (seeing as our water bill has not only doubled but tripled, tear)

No flood next year, phew

T: No Lucy you have harassed me long enough, go ahead and feed yourself

L: ok

L: You're absolutely sure mom?

T: O yes Lucy be my guest, but don't come crying to me when you're starving bc most of it landed on your out fit

L: It's ok I'll just lick it off

T: Where's your dad? He has a mess to clean up. ;)

On another note, if anyone else would like to be in the friends and family bar please do let me know.  It took me like a month to figure out how to put that up there so I'm a little bitter about it and to lazy to put people up there.  (ya know cuz it's like rocket science these blogs)
