Lucy's first experience at the beach...
She loved it!
I stood her up in the stand, she wiggled her toes, made a funny face, touched her toes, and then the smiles came.
I've been to the coast countless times and every time I go it's windy. But today was fabulous (unless you wanted to fly a kite) It was hardly windy at all. Later in the day we went to a second beach and the wind had picked up a little so the boys could get the kite up.
I just like this picture because she looks like she has a robot hand or something. Arrrgh!
Another tid bit about the west coast beaches, the water isn't too warm. Lucy could care less tho, she walked right in, a wave came up and knocked her down and so she sat their enjoying the waves hitting her.
She was the only one crazy enough to get in that water tho and she froze. Poor girl started shivering. Amy wrapped her up in some towels and then she went into a coma. (Lucy doesn't cuddle so we all enjoyed her coma while we could) LaMar getting some precious cuddle time.
I miss feeling the sand in my toes :(
Great tan line tho right?!
Who doesn't love the beach?
Tee hee, look at her face
She really is happy, a wave had just hit her and she was laughing
Clayton doing the shiver face with Lucy
Me telling her that we should go back to the car and wrap her up all toasty
My most favorite little girl!
I had a fabulous time feeding the seagulls. It is true tho, you feed one seagull and suddenly you're feeding the flock.
Lucy was getting a little grumpy so her and I walked over to a huge flock of seagulls and pestered them.
We had so much fun at the beach and I miss it so much!

Lucy just looks so big! Wish I was as brave as her--just run in cold water and love it. And the ocean just sounds so fun right now--something different.
Looks like a blast!!! i want to go to the beach right about now. (away from school)
