I do have more pictures from our WA. trip, but I needed a break from those for a while.
And I took these pictures all on the same day that's why they're included.
I purchased this sweet ride at Once Upon A Child for 7 bucks, doesn't get any sweeter then that.
At the store Lucy didn't want to get off and get very angry when I made her get off.
At this point she has noticed our neighbors cat and is meowing at her.
Frankie yet again begging for more food. She's a mooch.
Obviously this is more fun then riding it.
So here's the part where we visit the dead. I have this fascination with going to cemeteries, maybe it's my ancestors telling me to do genealogy, or maybe I just like to make up life histories. Either way we went to visit one of my favorite cemeteries yesterday, the Iona cemetery. Located in the country but not too far from the city. Their is a field of horses on one side, a house on the other, another house in front and a field behind it. And at sunset on a summer day, it just makes for the perfect Sunday walk. And the trees and/or flowers smelled delightful.
My most two favorite people. Take a look at Clay's hair, is that gray I see?! :)
Yet again my hair is getting in the way. O and Lucy's hair was fixed but her nap messed it up and by 7 pm their is no point in fixing it again.
This is me looking back making sure that Clayton is listening to me tell him the story of how this person died. He has a tendency to tune me out. If your husband does that to you too here are some tricks I have found useful
1. Look back and see what he's looking at, if their is a phone, car, or anything your hubby finds interesting near by he doesn't hear you
2. Make him look in your eyes, then you know he sees you even tho he isn't listening to a word you say
3. Every few sentences have him repeat what you said.
If these don't work try not to nag or get upset it may just be that he has already taken in more words then a man can handle :)
(I don't think I'll show Clay this post)
Doesn't look much like a baby anymore does she?
Hmm which rock shall I pick up and eat?
Lucy must have a fascination with the dead also. She had fun playing with this headstone, which is from the 1800's- holy moly!
Giving the sweet mother Annie a hug, I'll bet Annie enjoyed that.
Telling another headstone something
Listening to the reply.
Walking around enjoying one of my favorite places to go to.
You can see through my skirt, oh my!
Not quite sure what I'm doing with my hands?
So I met a woman with my birthday, I'll bet she's as neat as me.
And a couple who died on the same day, he was 71 she was 70. On their headstone their were deer and fish. They were driving up to Island Park (in march) on their way to do some early fishing. On the way they hit a patch of black ice that sent them sliding into an oncoming semi. No worries tho, they died instantly, painlessly and TOGETHER. -or so my story says.
