We enjoyed the outdoors while in Washington, ya know when I wasn't freezing!
We spent some time in Grandma's backyard and neighborhood wandering.
And while on a walk these two started holding hands, a true miracle.
We were playing with Gma's cat Rusty when the neighbors cat showed up to play too. We just naturally attract animals, true Disney Princesses.
Rusty had been avoiding us and growing weary of our antics but when this fellow showed up suddenly he was all sorts of ticked off that we dare to play with him instead of Rusty.
When we tired of the backyard we made our way to the bunny park just 4 houses or so down the road.
And now you know why it's called the bunny park.
See, Disney princesses.
Gma's backyard is always packed full of flowers and I allotted them each one flower to pick. Zoey had no problem picking one, purple after all is her favorite color.
Lucy on the other hand had a more difficult time choosing. This is her "I don't know which one to pick" pose.
Looks like she settled on her favorite color, pink.
See Rusty was playing with us but you can tell he's slightly annoyed. Welcome to Bella's life buddy.
Ever seen a cat chase its tail? I hadn't, until now.
Orange tabbies have all the personalities.
And when we got back my awesome coworker hooked me up, or rather my girls, with this fancy pants house.
And that spot where a normal person would put plants, my children pretend it's a toilet. Pretend being the key word, not actually using.
The week before Lucy's appendix burst my sister and I took the kids to Rigby Lake where we got toasty warm, covered in sand and probably some bacterial disease. :)
"Look Mom we're superhero's!" (They're super adorable really, I'm a little biased tho.)
Our ward put together a water party that was awesome but also happened to be on the windiest day all month. Kind of Idaho's way of doing things.
AND Lucy braved the slide. She's a scaredy cat but was brave enough to go with her Dad. :)
I do enjoy their outfit choices. And most of the time I will let them wear what they want, occasionally I have to draw the line. But a swimsuit and cowgirl boots just made sense to us.
